FAQs for Prospective Members
How much experience do I need?
Prior choral experience helps, but it’s not required. If you can carry a tune, hold your part against 3 others, and are eager to learn, we’ll support you.
How will I know what part to sing?
We’ll help you find the vocal section that suits you best.
Is there an audition?
Yes, but don’t worry—we’ll guide you every step of the way. You’ll get sheet music, practice tracks, and coaching from our helpful, knowledgeable Music Team.
I’m shy. Will I fit in?
Absolutely! Every new member gets a chorus buddy to help them feel at home. Our group is known for being warm and welcoming.
What’s the time commitment?
We rehearse weekly, and members practice regularly on their own. Performances happen throughout the year, and participation is encouraged but flexible.
What about costs?
A reasonable monthly contribution helps cover music, rehearsal space, and other expenses.
